High Holidays 5783 (2022)
High Holidays 5783 (2022)
Dear Friends,
We are grateful to be able to gather safely in-person as a sacred community to celebrate the High Holidays this year, which begin with Erev Rosh Hashanah on Sunday, September 25. Tickets will be mailed between September 8 and 16.
A detailed list of services (both in-person and virtual) and holiday programs will be included in the upcoming ticket mailing, as well as posted here in the coming weeks. All All High Holiday forms can also be accessed below. If you have questions regarding the forms or need assistance with any aspect of the Holidays, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
If you would like to receive a High Holiday honor (such as opening/closing the ark, parading the Torah, or an
aliyah), contact Tracey Goodman at tracey.goodman@templesholom.com or 203-869-7191 by August 26 and
she will give your request to the Honors Committee. If you are assigned an honor, please respond to your letter
by the date indicated.
Temple Sholom offers one-time complimentary High Holiday tickets to those who are new to the area or who have not previously experienced Temple Sholom's High Holiday services. For more information, contact Lori Baden, Associate Executive Director, at 203-542-7172 or lori.baden@templesholom.com.
We are excited to be able to offer many programs and Shabbat and holiday services in the New Year (in-person and/or streaming). Whether it’s a spirited Musical Shabbat, a thought-provoking speaker, a festive program for young families, a teen BBYO event or any one of the other services and special events, your presence is
encouraged. I look forward to greeting you in the coming months.
L’Shanah Tovah Tikateyvu - May you be inscribed for a good year.
