Support Temple Sholom
A donation to Temple Sholom is a wonderfully appropriate way to celebrate a life cycle event, to honor or commemorate the life of a loved one, or simply to acknowledge and express appreciation for the benefits Temple Sholom brings to your life. Our synagogue has a variety of Tribute and Donation Funds providing ways to support the congregation at all different levels. Members can dedicate a leaf on the Tree of Life, a Yahrzeit Memorial Plaque, a prayer book, or donate to support our nursery and religious schools. There are opportunities throughout the year to sponsor a Kiddush or a favorite Temple Sholom program (such as a lecture series, special program, and performing Jewish artists), or you may also choose to make a contribution to any of the funds listed below.
You may also purchase the following items which are used to support several funds of the synagogue:
Bronze Yahrzeit Plaques in our Sanctuary may be purchased at a cost of $600 to commemorate the passing of a loved one. Proceeds from your purchase benefit Temple Sholom's General Operating Fund.
Leaves on our Tree of Life may be purchased to commemorate a life cycle event at a cost of $1,800 for a small brass leaf, $5,400 for a small bronze leaf or $18,000 for a large copper leaf. The leaves are displayed prominently on our Tree of Life in our main lobby. Additional parts of our Tree may are also available for larger donations. Proceeds from your purchase benefit the Temple Sholom Endowment Fund.
Donations by check may be mailed to Temple Sholom, 300 East Putnam Avenue, Greenwich, CT 06830, Attn. Eileen Robin. Please indicate in the memo section of the check to which fund(s) you would like your donation allocated. If you would like more information about contributing to Temple Sholom, or would like to make a donation by credit card, please contact Eileen Robin, 203-542-7155, eileen.robin@templesholom.com.
Thank you for your support.
