From New York City and Long Island

I-95 North

Take I-95 north to Exit 4 (Indian Field Road – Cos Cob). At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Indian Field Road. Go 7/10 mile to second traffic light. Turn left onto East Putnam Avenue. Go to the third traffic light (5/10 mile). Temple Sholom is on the left. 

Via Hutchinson River Parkway North

The Hutchinson River Parkway North becomes Merritt Parkway upon entering Connecticut. Take Exit 31 (North Street). Off the exit ramp, bear left at the fork and turn left onto North Street. Go 3.9 miles to "T" intersection. Make a left onto Maple Avenue. Turn hairpin left at traffic light onto East Putnman Avenue. Go 3/10 mile to the first traffic light. Temple Sholom is on the right.

From New Jersey 

Via George Washington Bridge

Take Cross Bronx Expressway (I-95) North. Follow I-95 North (which becomes New England Thruway) to Exit 4 (Indian Field Road – Cos Cob). At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Indian Field Road. Go 7/10 mile to the second traffic light. Turn left onto East Putnam Avenue. Go to the third traffic light (5/10 mile). Temple Sholom is on the left. 

Via Tappen Zee Bridge

Take the Tappen Zee Bridge East to I 287 East to the Hutchinson River Parkway North.  Follow directions above for the Hutchinson River Parkway North. 

From Points North

I-95 South

Take I-95 South to Exit 4 (Indian Field Road – Cos Cob) Turn right onto Indian Field Road. Go 7/10 mile to second traffic light. Turn left onto East Putnam Avenue. Go to the third traffic light (5/10 mile). Temple Sholom is on the left. 

Merritt Parkway South 

Take Merritt Parkway South to Exit 31 (North Street). On the exit ramp bear to the right (to business district) as the ramp splits and take a right onto North Street. Go 3.9 miles to “T” intersection. Make a left onto Maple Avenue. Make a hairpin left turn at the next traffic light onto East Putnam Avenue. Go 3/10 mile to the first traffic light. Temple Sholom is on the right.
