High Holidays 2024 (5785)
Dear Friends,
Even though the High Holidays may feel far away, Temple Sholom is busy preparing for the New Year ahead.
All High Holiday forms are accessible online below. In the coming weeks, we will provide a detailed list of services and holiday programs by mail with High Holiday tickets, and in the Weekly E-bulletin.
If you would like to receive a High Holiday honor (such as opening/closing the ark, parading the Torah, or an aliyah), contact Lisa Shpilberg at lisa.shpilberg@templesholom.com or 203-869-7191 by September 13 and she will give your request to the Honors Committee. If you are assigned an honor, please respond to your letter by the date indicated.
On behalf of our congregational family, I would like to wish you and your loved ones a meaningful holiday filled with happiness, good health and many simchas. Our hearts continue to remain with Israel as we approach the 1-year mark of October 7th, and we pray that the sounding of the shofar will mark the beginning of a New Year of peace. Am Yisrael Chai.
L’Shanah Tovah Tikateyvu - May you be inscribed for a good year.
