7:00 PM - 9:00 PMTemple SholomNot unlike many Jewish celebrations, the American celebration of Thanksgiving is a time for gratitude and gathering, as well as connecting to our wider community.
In commemoration of both Thanksgiving and Native American Heritage month, Rabbi Kevin and Rabbi Margo will host a special teen event: a movie screening of the 2009 documentary "Reel Injun," followed by a discussion of media bias and stereotypes, and the importance of telling our American and Jewish stories more fully.

Rabbi Mitch has kicked-off a new Lunch 'n Learn series called "Rashi with the Rabbi", a look at Torah with Rashi's commentary. Rabbi Mitch will teach self-contained sessions each week. You do not need any knowledge of Hebrew or familiarity with the Torah to learn from Rashi's commentary. Take the time to engage in meaningful conversations about the timeless concepts in the Torah.
