Madrichim (8-12)

What are Madrichim?

Madrichim means "guides or leaders" in Hebrew.  At Temple Sholom our 8th - 12th graders are invited to guide, lead and serve as role models for our K-7th graders.  Madrichim serve a vital role in the school by connecting with the younger students and forming strong relationships with them.

Our Madrichim can choose between four unique programs.  Each one offers the opportunity to develop and strenghten leadership skills.

The four programs are:

• Community Service Madrich
• Religious School Classroom Madrich
• Religious School Office Madrich
• Creative Arts Madrich

Participants have to meet commitment requirements.  Those who complete the program may choose to receive community service credit or a cash stipend.
