From New York City and Long Island
I-95 North
Take I-95 north to Exit 4 (Indian Field Road – Cos Cob). At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Indian Field Road. Go 7/10 mile to second traffic light. Turn left onto East Putnam Avenue. Go to the third traffic light (5/10 mile). Temple Sholom is on the left.
From New Jersey
Via George Washington Bridge
Take Cross Bronx Expressway (I-95) North. Follow I-95 North (which becomes New England Thruway) to Exit 4 (Indian Field Road – Cos Cob). At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Indian Field Road. Go 7/10 mile to the second traffic light. Turn left onto East Putnam Avenue. Go to the third traffic light (5/10 mile). Temple Sholom is on the left.
Hutchinson River Parkway North to Merritt Parkway
Hutchinson River Parkway North becomes Merritt Parkway upon entering Connecticut.
Take Exit 31 (North Street). Off the exit ramp, bear left at the fork and turn left onto North Street. Go 3.9 miles to “T” intersection. Make a left onto Maple Avenue. Turn hairpin left at traffic light onto East Putnam Avenue. Go 3/10 mile to the first traffic light. Temple Sholom is on the right.
From Points North
I-95 South
Take I-95 South to Exit 4 (Indian Field Road – Cos Cob) Turn right onto Indian Field Road. Go 7/10 mile to second traffic light. Turn left onto East Putnam Avenue. Go to the third traffic light (5/10 mile). Temple Sholom is on the left.
Merritt Parkway South
Take Merritt Parkway South to Exit 31 (North Street). On the exit ramp bear to the right (to business district) as the ramp splits and take a right onto North Street. Go 3.9 miles to “T” intersection. Make a left onto Maple Avenue. Make a hairpin left turn at the next traffic light onto East Putnam Avenue. Go 3/10 mile to the first traffic light. Temple Sholom is on the right.
Directions to Temple Sholom Cemetery (Memory Lane, off Riversville Road)
Turn Left out of Temple Sholom Parking lot.
At 8th traffic light (Dearfield Drive), turn Right (Library and Exxon station).
Go half-way around traffic circle and turn Right onto Glenville Road.
Go 2 miles on Glenville Road to Riversville Road.
Turn Right onto Riversville Road (Citgo station).
To 1.2 miles on Riversville Road to Memory Lane, which is a sharp, steep Right Turn. (Just before you come to Memory Lane you will see a sign, "Saddle Ridge".)
Go to the end of Memory Lane into the cemetery area.
Take First Right and Temple Sholom Cemetery is on the right.
