Mitzvah Day - Registration Deadline
The deadline for Mitzvah Day registration is Monday, April 3rd. If you haven't already sent in your registration form, please do so as soon as possible.
In case you've misplaced the brochure that was mailed to you, there are extra copies available in the Temple lobby.
The full brochure is also available on the Temple's website: www.templesholom.com
Mitzvah Day (May 7)
Please drop off lotion, deodorant, mouthwash, wet wipes, tissues, chap stick, combs, shaving cream, etc. to Temple between now and Mitzvah Day.
These will be used in some of our Mitzvah Day projects, such as the care packages being prepared for Israeli soldiers and Jewish soldiers in Iraq.
Social Action – Call-A-Ride
Call-A-Ride is having a significant shortage on volunteer drivers. Many long time regulars are out with injuries, and they are seeking a few new drivers to fill in while the regular volunteers are able to recuperate.
Drivers may provide either a morning or afternoon of time as needed.
Call-a-ride provides their car and a radio dispatcher to give directions and any other assistance as needed.
Volunteer may drive as little as once-a-month.
Interested individuals may contact either Barry or Laurie Siegel at 203- 661-2764.
